A coalition of labor and community groups in Alabama and Georgia raised concerns to CEO Jose Muñoz about the alarming reports of child labor found in Hyundai’s U.S. supply chain, as well as the death of a construction worker at the Hyundai Metaplant in Georgia. The coalition called on Hyundai to negotiate a binding Community Benefits Agreement that ensures good jobs while addressing local community needs. Hyundai has yet to respond.
